In addition to the forwards Victor Mbaoma (Enyimba International) and Ishaq Kayode (Rivers United), there are midfielders Afeez Nosiru (Kwara United) and Chiamaka Madu (Rivers United).

Twenty-two foreign-based players will join the players who departed the nation with other team executives in the United States.

As he starts his tenure as Super Eagles manager, the games will provide new head coach Jose Paseiro a chance to see the players.

On Matchday 30 of the 2021–2022 season, the NPFL stars will be missed by their individual clubs, in contrast to their international counterparts who have finished playing in their respective leagues.

In an effort to gain a spot in the new Super Eagles head coach’s plans, the NPFL players who were wearing smiles before they boarded the plane to Texas will try to make an impression.
