Leading online bookmaker 1XBET has agreed to sponsor shirts for Akwa United Football Club, the Nigeria Professional Football League champions.
According to the agreement, the defending NPFL champions will promote 1XBET goods and services on social media, during league games, and on the front of their jerseys during the 2022–2023 season.
Paul Bassey, the chairman of Akwa United Elder, and Dr. Oluwafemi Babalola, the managing director of 1XBET in Nigeria, signed the collaboration agreement on behalf of both companies on May 25, 2022, in Lagos at the Marriott hotel in Ikeja.
In his remarks, Dr. Femi Babalola stated that 1XBet is honored to be associated with a well-known company such as Akwa United.
