After two days of stability, the value of the naira increases.

Naira Strengthens Marginally Against Dollar as Inflation Eases and Reserves Rebound

After holding steady for two days, the value of the Naira increased against the dollar on Friday at the Investors and Exporters window.

In comparison to the N429.38 it exchanged for the dollar on Thursday, the naira now stands at N429.05, up 0.08 percent.

On Friday, the open indicative rate ended the day at N428 to the US dollar.

The highest currency rate during the day’s trade was N444 to the dollar, which finished at N429.05.

During the day’s trade, the Naira dropped as low as 416.06 to the dollar.

On Friday, foreign exchange transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 50.22 million dollars. (NAN)
