Naira somewhat increases during the window for investors and exporters.

Naira Posts Slight Gains Amid Soaring Dollar Demand as U.S. Dollar Index Hits Two-Year Low

Following a three-day decline against the dollar in the Investors and Exporters window, the Naira strengthened on Thursday, trading at N430.67.

Comparing the figure to the N431 it was worth on Wednesday, it showed a 0.08 percent rise.

On Thursday, the open indicative rate ended the day at N429.75 to the US dollar.

Prior to its settlement at N430.67, the highest rate throughout the day’s trade was N444 to the dollar.

During the day’s trade, the value of the Naira dropped as low as N417 to the US dollar.

On Thursday, foreign exchange transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 82.88 million dollars.
