The dates for the much-anticipated El Clasico clashes between Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have been set for the 2019-20 La Liga season. Barcelona will host the first encounter at the Nou Camp on October 27, with the return fixture at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu scheduled for March 1, 2020.
The La Liga champions, Barcelona, will begin their title defense with a challenging opener against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on August 18. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will start their campaign with an away match at Celta Vigo.
Atletico Madrid, last season’s runners-up, will kick off their season at home against Getafe, while Real will face their local rivals Atletico at the Wanda Metropolitano on September 29.
