The appointment was announced on Wednesday in a statement issued by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire, in Benin City.
Omoyiwola will take over from Ademola Bobola, whose five-year tenure ends on March 31, and is scheduled to assume office on April 1.
Experienced Administrator Takes the Helm
A native of Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, Omoyiwola holds a Master’s degree in International History and Diplomacy from the University of Benin, along with other postgraduate qualifications.
