Doris Ogala Arrested Over Allegations Against Pastor Chris Okafor

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been taken into police custody following a heated social media confrontation connected to her recent allegations against Lagos-based cleric, Pastor Chris Okafor.

According to reports, the arrest took place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while the actress was hosting a live video session with an online commentator. During the livestream, Ogala disclosed that police officers had entered her residence, a moment that was captured in real time by viewers.

In the video, the actress appeared visibly upset as she reprimanded a woman identified as Charity, accusing her of granting access to the officers despite prior instructions. The interviewer urged Ogala to remain calm, keep her phone recording, and confirm whether the officers had presented an arrest warrant.

Moments later, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dee One, took to Instagram to announce that Ogala had been arrested. He claimed he had previously advised the actress to exercise caution and stated that the matter would now be addressed through legal channels.

The incident comes amid an ongoing online controversy sparked by Ogala’s recent social media posts, in which she accused Pastor Okafor of deception. She shared an image allegedly showing the cleric in a private setting and claimed to possess video evidence to support her allegations.

Public interest intensified after news emerged that the pastor had married a woman identified as Pearl earlier in the week. The wedding reportedly proceeded despite Ogala’s accusations, which included claims of emotional manipulation, betrayal, and an unfulfilled promise of marriage following what she described as a long-term relationship.

In a series of emotional videos posted over recent days, Ogala alleged that her relationship with the cleric began around 2017. She further claimed that she ended her previous marriage at his insistence, only to be left devastated when the relationship abruptly ended.
