Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly lashed out at her co-wife, Laila Charani, following accusations that she engages in same-sex relationships and introduced her to drug use.

Charani, one of the wives of billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, reportedly claimed she no longer feels comfortable leaving her daughters with Regina due to the actress’s alleged lifestyle choices.

However, in a fiery response shared via Instagram, Regina dismissed the allegations as baseless and deeply offensive.

The actress described Laila’s comments as “useless and hurtful,” accusing her of peddling lies orchestrated to damage her reputation.

“Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say,” Regina wrote. “I’m a mother to so many children, and it’s exhausting. Saying I sleep with every girl? Honestly, being with the same gender isn’t something I consider shameful — but how sure is she? Maybe she’s sure because I slept with her too.”

The actress further claimed that despite allegedly questionable behaviors by Laila’s son, she has continued to allow him to interact with her own child out of love and tolerance.

“If not for the disadvantages of polygamy, her son and mine wouldn’t even be together because of all the atrocities we’ve caught him doing — things I’ll never mention. But my son loves him, so what can I do?” she added.

Regina concluded by calling on her husband, Ned Nwoko, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of her children.

“Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is my priority. Do not use them to weaken me,” she wrote.

The actress’s response has since generated widespread reactions online, with fans and observers debating the ongoing tension between the two co-wives in Nwoko’s polygamous household.
