Aviation entrepreneur Allen Onyema has warned political appointees in Nigeria to stop internal fighting, cautioning that such behaviour could backfire and turn them into victims.

Speaking in Abuja on Wednesday, Onyema said the problem in government is not the elected leaders but some appointees who engage in personal rivalries and factionalism.

He urged appointees to support the administration’s agenda and avoid actions that could undermine policy implementation.

Onyema’s warning comes amid increased scrutiny of appointees’ performance, with concerns over factional loyalties, duplication of duties, and underperformance.
He stressed that alignment with government objectives is crucial for appointees to maintain their positions and contribute effectively.
