Wike Approves Resident Doctors’ Demands, Commends Call Off of Strike

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike joined the Body of Benchers’ procession in Abuja on Tuesday, as his son, Jordan Wike, was formally admitted into the Nigerian Bar.

Wike was accompanied by his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, in the ceremony, sharing in the milestone moment with their family.

Jordan was among the thousands of law graduates who completed their training at the Nigerian Law School and were called to the Bar during the Body of Benchers’ ceremony held between September 23 and 25, 2025. Applicants had earlier collected invitation cards between September 18 and 22, 2025.

The Call to Bar ceremony, a statutory event by the Body of Benchers, symbolises the formal admission of successful law graduates as barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
