Popular Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam, professionally known as TG Omori, has revealed that adopting a celibate lifestyle has significantly improved his personal life.
In a post shared via his X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, Omori stated that celibacy has had a positive impact on his well-being.
“Since I became celibate, half of my problems got solved,” he wrote.
The director further noted that he has taken an oath of celibacy, though he did not disclose when the decision was made or what prompted the lifestyle change.
The post has since generated a wave of reactions online, with many social media users commenting on the challenges and perceived benefits of celibacy, especially within the entertainment industry.

TG Omori’s statement comes amid a period of personal transformation. Earlier this year, the director disclosed that he underwent a kidney transplant, which was sourced from his brother.
However, he later revealed that the transplant had failed, prompting him to call for prayers and support from the public.
In addition to his health challenges, Omori has made other significant lifestyle changes. In April 2024, he announced that he had quit smoking, describing it as a step towards improving his overall health.
He has also addressed public backlash in recent months following comments on religion, which some critics labeled controversial.
