NNL: “We Cannot Afford To Drop Points At Home,” says Nsikak Moses of the Ibom Youths FC in a warning shot directed at Ekiti United.

Ibom Youth FC’s Nsikak Speedster Moses is optimistic that on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, he and his teammates will play a straightforward game.

Prior to his team’s Nigeria National League Matchday Five matchup against Ekiti United at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium in Akwa Ibom state, the forward disclosed this in a pre-match interview.

The forward, who is anticipated to stay in the starting lineup, expressed confidence in Ibom Youths FC’s ability to defeat Ekiti United.
He stated, “I am saying that it shouldn’t be a difficult game because we can’t afford to drop points at home, as all of the players here agree.” We’re going to Benin to make up for our loss to Bendel Insurance over the weekend.

Nsikak Moses responded, “I want to score goals to help the team,” when asked about his own aims for the season. Given the difficulty of the NNL and the short length of the League, I have set a personal aim of ten goals. I’m hoping that obtaining the first will lead to the remaining ones.

Nsikak responded, “Our supporters have been great,” when asked about the impact of the supporters thus far. On matchday, we may see and hear the messages in the stadium and on social media. On Wednesday in the Ikot Ekpene township stadium, I will make the same request. Come on, and cheer us to victory,” he said.

A squad of 20 players has been named by coach Emmanuel Ntuk to play Ekiti United. The squad of 18 players who participated in the Matchday 4 action against Bendel Insurance has been joined by defender Alexander Momoh and striker Mfoniso Umoh in preparation for Wednesday’s game at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium.

Victor Obiowo and Etido Bassey, the goalkeepers, are in camp for the game. In defense are Momoh, Victor Ifiok, Wisdom Ndon, Franklin Chinedu, Captain Marshall John, Nicholas Joseph, and Namso Edo.

Attackers Gift Henshaw, Mbuotidem Charles, Damilola Salami, Mfoniso Umoh, Chibuzor Princewill, and Nsikak Moses will be supplied by midfielders Joseph Bassey, Ndifreke John, Birthday Boy Dauda Umar Musa Reza, Edidiong George, and Hossana Uyoh.
