President Tinubu Concludes Working Vacation, Returns to Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his working vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties.

The President departed Abuja on September 4 for a 10-day working vacation in Europe, which included visits to France and the United Kingdom. The vacation was part of his 2025 annual leave.

According to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu will return to Abuja tomorrow, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties. The statement did not specify the reasons for the early conclusion of the President’s vacation.

During his time in Europe, President Tinubu engaged in bilateral discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, focusing on areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France. The President is expected to continue his engagements upon his return to Abuja.
