Popular street-hop singer Portable has once again found himself at the center of online controversy after publicly lashing out at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo over her recent remarks about single motherhood.
The controversy started when Iyabo Ojo, widely admired by fans as “Queen Mother,” spoke positively about single mothers, highlighting their resilience and success despite social stigma.
Her comments were largely celebrated as encouraging and uplifting, especially by women who saw the message as affirming their lived experiences.
However, Portable, known for his outspoken and often confrontational style, reacted strongly against the statement. In a video that quickly went viral, the “Zazu” crooner dismissed Iyabo Ojo’s comments, accusing her of promoting what he described as the wrong values to young women.
