Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has now been formally inducted into the All Progressives Congress (APC), solidifying his recent move to the nation’s ruling party.
His registration was completed on Friday during a visit by the Tony Okocha-led APC leadership in Rivers State to the Government House in Port Harcourt. The delegation conducted the governor’s documentation, marking his official entry into the party.

Also present at the event was the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, who accompanied the delegation. Keyamo is in Rivers State for the inauguration of a newly completed road project and witnessed the governor’s formal onboarding into the APC.
The development follows days of speculation and signals a significant shift in the state’s political landscape.
