TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has spoken publicly for the first time following his involvement in a car accident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
According to reports, the social media influencer was hospitalised after crashing his newly purchased Mercedes-Benz on Sunday. The incident happened while he was live on Instagram, drawing widespread attention online.
Moments before the crash, Peller appeared visibly distressed during the livestream, where he spoke emotionally about personal and relationship struggles. His comments raised concern among viewers, as he expressed fear over a possible breakup and the public reaction that might follow. The situation quickly escalated, ending in the accident.
Breaking his silence on Friday via Instagram, Peller apologised to Nigerians and his supporters, admitting that he acted out of emotional pain and pressure. He explained that the stress surrounding his private life and the recent end of his relationship clouded his judgment and nearly cost him his life.
The content creator took responsibility for his actions, stating that he never intended for events to unfold the way they did. He also made a direct appeal to the public to stop attacking Jarvis, stressing that she was not responsible for what happened.
