The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Olayide Adelami, exercised his civic duty by casting his vote at Polling Unit 16, Ward 3 in Igboroko II, Owo Local Government Area on election day. Arriving at the polling station around 9:40 a.m., Adelami was accompanied by members of his immediate family. He joined the queue alongside other voters to participate in the electoral process.
After casting his ballot, Adelami addressed journalists, emphasizing the importance of voter participation. He urged residents of Owo and the broader Ondo State to come out and exercise their franchise.
“Your vote is your power. I encourage everyone to come out and vote. By doing so, you contribute significantly to the advancement of good governance and the progress of our beloved Ondo State,†Adelami stated.
