The family of celebrated Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has shared details of her upcoming funeral arrangements, following her passing after a brief illness that left the entertainment industry in shock.
According to a statement shared on Instagram by fellow actor Rotimi Salami on Saturday, a Service of Songs will take place on January 8, 2026, followed by a Candlelight procession in her honor. Allwell Ademola’s final resting place will be at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos, on January 9, 2026.
In the statement, it was revealed that a customised T-shirt will be provided at the Service of Songs. Guests attending the burial are requested to wear white tops with jeans, in keeping with the chosen color code of white. Rotimi Salami captioned the post:
“THE BURIAL ARRANGEMENT FOR PRINCESS ALLWELL ADEMOLA
Note: On Thursday, a customised T-shirt will be provided at the venue. For the burial on Friday, kindly wear a white shirt with jeans. Colour code: white. Thank you.”

Allwell Ademola’s death on December 27, 2025, was confirmed by doctors at Ancilla Catholic Hospital, Agege, where she had been admitted after complaining of difficulty breathing. She was placed on oxygen support but tragically did not recover.
The Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), through its Guild of Directors, remembered Allwell as a dedicated, hardworking, and loyal member who was actively involved in both the Guild and the wider association. Her passing has left a noticeable void in Nollywood, and colleagues continue to express their grief at the loss of the talented actress.
