Peter Obi Blasts Government Over ₦7 Trillion Budget Scandal

Peter Obi, former presidential candidate and ex-governor of Anambra State, has reacted to reports of a tragic road accident involving former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday and resulted in the death of two people who were said to be members of Joshua’s team. The victims reportedly lost their lives at the scene of the crash.

Obi shared his reaction via his official 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) account, describing the incident as deeply troubling. He noted that the accident has once again drawn attention to concerns about emergency response systems in the country, particularly claims that an ambulance was not immediately available to transport the boxer for medical care.

While expressing sadness over the loss of lives, Obi extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and offered prayers for Anthony Joshua’s recovery.

In his message, Obi said he was saddened by the news of the accident involving the global boxing icon in Makun, Ogun State.
