In one of the 2021/2022 Nigerian Nationwide League One games, Sir Monty Football Club, based in Akwa Ibom, defeated Hope Of Glory Fc of Calabar 1-0, with striker Peter Obinna scoring the lone goal.

At the cost of Hope Of Glory Fc, Sir Monty Fc secured its fourth point of the season in the game played on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium’s Training Pitch in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
