Guests attending the 2021 Fanfaro Autofest in Ibadan are in for a treat, as the event will feature performances by Nigerian singer Teni Apata, actor Bolanle Ninalowo, and others. The festival, scheduled for Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Pacesetter Transport Service, Eleyele, Ibadan, is expected to boost the local economy, attract investors, and create new opportunities for residents.
Despite being a free event, Fanfaro’s CEO, Adekunle Olanrewaju, highlighted the festival’s potential to enhance tourism and offer businesses brand visibility. Young enterprises will have the chance to network and expand their commercial prospects. He also mentioned that the event will put Ibadan on the global entertainment map, with coverage by CNN Africa and MTV Base, and visitors from across Africa.
The festival, now in its third year, will include a dinner for stakeholders on Friday and a city tour on Saturday, before culminating in a vibrant celebration on Sunday. Olanrewaju emphasized the festival’s impact on tourism and local businesses, noting that last year’s edition attracted nearly 100 super bikers, drifters, and auto enthusiasts from various regions. This year’s event promises to be even bigger, showcasing Ibadan’s culture, landmarks, and business-friendly environment.
Fanfaro Autofest is organized by Fanfaro Oils in partnership with Weeldrop Nigeria Ltd, Cruzer Lounge, DNI, the Oyo State Government, MTV Base, and Hennessy as the official drinks partner.
