Firdausi Muhammad, a 25-year-old mother and wife of a police officer, has called on kind-hearted Nigerians and the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, for assistance after delivering triplets in Dutse Local Government Area, Jigawa State.
Firdausi successfully delivered the babies—a boy and two girls—via a Cesarean section at Dutse General Hospital on Saturday around 12:30 pm. Both the mother and the newborns are reportedly in good health and receiving care from the hospital’s medical team.
Speaking to FRONTPAGE, Firdausi shared her surprise and joy at the birth of the triplets, as she had been expecting twins based on her earlier ultrasound results. “When I went for a scan, the result showed that I was carrying twins, but to my surprise, I delivered triplets,” she said.
Grateful for the blessing of her children, Firdausi appealed for assistance to meet the financial demands of caring for the newborns. “I am appealing to the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, and other individuals to support us to properly take care of them,” she said.
Dayyabu, the father of the triplets and a low-ranked police officer, also expressed his joy and gratitude to Allah for the unexpected blessing. “I am very excited to see that my wife delivered triplets, unlike what was scanned earlier. This is a great gift to us,” he stated.
The family is now seeking support and prayers from well-meaning Nigerians to ensure the continued health and well-being of both the mother and her babies.
