US President Donald Trump chastised Episcopal Diocese of Washington Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde on Wednesday for urging him to “have mercy” on LGBTQ individuals and immigrants under his administration.

“I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President,” Budde said to Trump, who was sitting next to his wife Melania in the front pew of the church during the traditional inaugural service. Democratic, Republican, and independent households all have children that are homosexual, lesbian, or transgender.

“Those who work in chicken farms and meat packing plants, pick our farms, clean our office buildings, wash the dishes after our meals at restaurants, and work night shifts in hospitals could not be citizens or have the required paperwork. However, the great majority of immigrants do not commit crimes,” she continued.

According to AFP, Trump previously stated, “I didn’t think it was a good service,” in response to a question about his thoughts on her comments.
“The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard-line Trump hater,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday after attending the ceremony at the Washington National Cathedral.

In a rather ungracious manner, she introduced her church into the political arena. Without mentioning her by name, Trump wrote, “She was not smart or compelling and had a nasty tone.”

“Aside from her offensive remarks, the service was incredibly dull and uninspired. She does not do her job well! She should apologize to the public on behalf of her church. Trump went on.

Trump announced plans to remove illegal migrants from the nation and halt the entry of asylum seekers after taking the oath of office for the second time on Monday, according to Frontpage Online.

Additionally, he ruled that only the male and female sexes would be acknowledged.
