The IMAX Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos, played host to some of Nollywood’s biggest stars on Tuesday, January 21, 2024, for the private screening of Something About the Briggs. The exclusive event, held in a private theatre, brought together a select group of entertainers, including the film’s cast, for a night of celebration and cinematic storytelling.

Something About the Briggs tells the compelling story of a young woman wrestling with the decision to accept a marriage proposal from her lover, all while haunted by family trauma surrounding marriage. The film features a stellar cast, including Daniel Etim-Effiong and Ariyike Owolagba, popularly known as Ariyike Dimples, in leading roles. Other notable stars include Rita Dominic, Norbert and Gloria Young, Bukky Wright, Stan Nze, Iyabo Ojo, and Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman.
Rita Dominic Reflects on the Project
Speaking about her experience, Rita Dominic shared her joy at seeing the final product and reconnecting with her fellow cast members. “Experiencing the film and seeing the final product was truly rewarding. Most importantly, reconnecting with all the cast members was a highlight for me. We formed a strong bond on set, and it was wonderful to share this moment with them,” she said.
