Three people were killed when a popular newspaper stand at the Iyara roundabout in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State was struck by a Range Rover SUV registered under the license plate Delta EFR 940 – TT.

On Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the evening, a tragedy took place.

In addition to killing three people whose identities were yet unknown but were allegedly reading newspapers, one more person was hurt in the incident.

A witness said how the unfortunate car’s driver attempted to maneuver the roundabout quickly, which is when the catastrophe happened.

Additional information revealed that the two other passengers, who are girls, were unharmed while the driver had major injuries.

As of the time this story was filed, DSP Bright Edafe, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Delta State Police Headquarters in Asaba, could not be reached for confirmation.
