Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo, known as Ruger, recently opened up about a powerful spiritual experience he had during the Cherubim and Seraphim church’s crossover service in Ojodu, Lagos State. The revelation was shared on Wednesday through Ruger’s fan base Instagram page, #blownboy_news.

A Personal Testimony of Emotional Breakthrough

In his heartfelt testimony, Ruger expressed a deep emotional breakthrough, revealing that he shed tears for the first time in four years after experiencing God’s presence in the church. “I thank God. I have not cried in like four years. Today, I saw God again, and I cried. I thank God for my life,” he said, reflecting on the significance of the moment.

Ruger also shared that he had missed the annual crossover service for the past two years due to being abroad but made it a top priority to attend the 2024 service. He even instructed his manager to cancel any conflicting shows. “Today, I am so happy to be here. Today, my manager texted me and told me that I have one show tonight. And I told him to cancel it, that I did not care,” he added. “I have to be in church because in 2021, I was in church here. I missed the crossover service for 2022 and 2023 because I was outside the country.”

Gratitude to the Church and Its Leadership

Ruger took a moment to thank the congregation and the church leadership for their role in his growth, saying, “I thank God for everybody here. I thank God for everybody who has nurtured me since I started in this church. This is a very caring church, because, if this church is not great, great people would not come out of this church.”

Teni’s Testimony and Gratitude

Fellow Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, who was also present at the crossover service, shared her own testimony, expressing gratitude to the church for its warm invitation. Teni, who grew up at the Ayo Ni O Surelere church branch, thanked the church for making her feel welcomed and appreciated during the service.

Ruger’s testimony, coupled with Teni’s gratitude, highlights the significance of spiritual support in their lives and careers, with both artists acknowledging the impact of their faith and church community in their personal growth and success.
