PayedIn Technology Launches Accessible Payment Solution to Support Nigeria’s Digital Economy

PayedIn Technology, a Nigerian fintech firm, has introduced a user-friendly electronic payment solution tailored to support businesses and entrepreneurs transitioning to digital operations. In a recent statement, the company emphasized that digitalisation should be accessible to all, and current payment systems often pose barriers with complex setups, requiring advanced hardware, intermediaries, or systems integration. According to PayedIn, this setup restricts cashless solutions to only the top 20% of organizations with the necessary resources.

PayedIn’s Co-Founder and CEO, Debo Shopade, noted, “We’ve designed a payment platform that eliminates the need for additional hardware or intermediaries, requiring only a simple sign-up process for recipients to get started.” Co-Founder and CTO, Aditya Padhi, highlighted the platform’s security, featuring robust measures like two-factor authentication, biometric verification, and email and phone verification for secure transactions.

The payment solution is tailored for diverse sectors, including utilities, services, education, e-commerce, transportation, charity, and religious organizations. It offers remote payment links, QR code payment options, instant transaction notifications, and a comprehensive dashboard for managing and reporting transactions.

With features like location-triggered payments, recurring payments, and push notifications, PayedIn aims to simplify digital transactions, fostering cashless adoption and economic digitalisation across Nigeria.
