The Egba Division of the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a man, Kazeem Sholola, for assaulting his wife, Mutiat Sholola, during a domestic dispute. According to the Ogun State Police spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, the assault happened during a heated disagreement between the couple. In a fit of uncontrollable anger, Kazeem reportedly poured hot oil on his wife and stabbed her in the head.
The attack was reported to the police by concerned members of the Ring Road community on January 18, 2025, at approximately 12:20 PM.
