This weekend marked the start of the ninth week of the 2021–2022 Nigerian National League season. On Friday, April 1, 2022, EFCC defeated Yobe Desert Stars 1-0. Ibom Youths FC defeated Ikorodu United 2-1 on Saturday, April 2.

Ismail Salami gave the Visitors the lead in the eleventh minute of the match at the Ikot Ekpene Township stadium. Ibom Youths FC lost against Ikorodu United 0-1 in the first half.

Ibom Youths Fc came back for the second half like a house on fire, and in the 75th minute, defender Adrian Eddidion scored from 18 yards out to beat seasoned goalkeeper Itodo Akor to level.

The Ikorodu United defenders were unable to clear out Defender Iniobong Bassey’s long throw in the 80th minute, which gave Ibom Youths Fc midfielder Ndifreke John a fantastic chance to score the game-winning goal. Ibom Youths FC defeated Ikorodu United 2-1.

In what was a tense but fascinating match in Birnin Kebbi, the Atiku Bagudu youngsters defeated Road Safety Fc 1-0.
