Nigeria’s 2024 budget allocated over ₦1 trillion each to 10 key ministries, reflecting the government’s focus on driving national development.

The Ministry of Defence received the largest allocation at ₦1.3 trillion, emphasizing the importance of national security.

The Ministry of Police Affairs was allocated ₦869 billion, while Education and Health received ₦857 billion and ₦667 billion, respectively, to

improve access and quality in these critical sectors.

Other notable allocations include the Ministry of Interior (₦362 billion) and Agriculture and Food Security (₦110 billion), highlighting efforts to enhance internal security and food supply.

These allocations underscore the government’s commitment to addressing challenges in security, education, healthcare, and infrastructure while promoting sustainable development.
