The 2023 edition of NET Honours concluded on December 23, celebrating some of Africa’s most prominent personalities across various entertainment sectors. This year saw expanded voting categories, allowing fans to actively participate in choosing their favorites. Among the top winners were Funke Akindele, who clinched the title of Most Popular Actress for the fourth year in a row, and Davido, crowned Most Popular Musician (Male).
Tobi Bakre emerged as the Most Popular Actor, while Tiwa Savage was recognized as both the Most Popular and Most Searched Female Musician. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu continued his reign as the Most Popular Media Personality (Male), and Rihanna secured the award for Most Popular Foreign Celebrity.
In non-voting categories, Adekunle Gold and Simi were named the Most Popular Couple, while Hilda Baci was recognized as the Most Popular Person, driven by widespread public interest.
