Retired actress Dalyce Curry, celebrated for her roles in iconic films such as The Blues Brothers, The Ten Commandments, and Lady Sings the Blues, has tragically passed away in the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. She was 95 years old.
Discovery of Curry’s Remains
Authorities confirmed that Curry’s remains were discovered at her property in Altadena, California, which was destroyed in the fires. Her great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, shared that Curry was last seen on the evening of January 7, when Kelley dropped her off at home.

Days later, officials confirmed that Curry’s remains had been located amidst the debris of her home. “About an hour ago, the coroner confirmed her remains were indeed found at the property. #RIPMOMMADEE,” Kelley posted on Facebook on January 12. “We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”
