Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based musician of Ilorin origin famed for his iconic phrase, “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” has passed away. The celebrated artist died on Friday night, according to family sources.
Senwele, a native of Ilorin West Local Government Area in Kwara State, was widely recognized for his unique entertainment style and captivating performances, which endeared him to socialites and fans alike.
No Signs of Illness Before Passing
A family member revealed that Mukaila showed no signs of illness before his sudden death. Speaking to ROYAL NEWS, the source said, “There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening.”
The family was alerted about his passing through an emergency call from the location where he had been lodging with fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source added.
Burial Arrangements
Mukaila Senwele will be buried on Saturday morning in accordance with Islamic rites.
