The Kwara State Government has cautioned individuals and groups against including political messages or personal branding on educational materials donated to public schools. The practice of printing donor images or politically motivated content on school supplies has been deemed inappropriate and against state policy, which aims to maintain a politically neutral learning environment.

The Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Sa’adatu Moddibo-Kawu, expressed the government’s disapproval of such acts, emphasizing the need to safeguard children from political indoctrination. She noted that materials distributed by the state government since 2019 have adhered to this standard, with no political branding or images of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq included, reflecting his belief that such practices are not beneficial for young learners.

The government has urged public officials and private donors to respect this policy, while also extending its gratitude to those supporting public education initiatives in the state. This directive highlights the administration’s commitment to creating an inclusive and apolitical educational environment in Kwara State.
