In Ekiti 2022, voters would be dissatisfied with the ADP candidate on election day.

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate for governor of Ekiti state, Mrs. Kemi Elebutte-Halle, stated before of the June 18 election that the electorate will let those hoping to win the election down who were counting on purchasing votes.

In order to free themselves and ensure their future, the people are resolved to reject political money in elections, according to the ADP candidate, who bemoaned the rising level of despair and pessimism in society.

After arriving back in the state from Abuja, where she had gone to pick up her certificate of return, Elebutte-Halle gave a speech in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of the state, on Friday. She was greeted by an enormous group of lovers and supporters.

She claims that her campaign is about empowering women and young people and providing the highest level of security possible so that the state may see significant development in all areas.

In support of the state, she reaffirmed that since 1999, the state has produced male governors who have fulfilled their quota. She recommended that voters and stakeholders support a female candidate with experience and connections.

“What I have seen today means that you get what you put in,” she remarked. I would like to point out that our people have been duped into thinking that there are only the APC and PDP. This is untrue, and if it were the case, there wouldn’t be almost 16 political parties on the ballot for this election. After years with a man as governor, the people are demanding a woman, therefore ADP is here to stay, and we will expand on it.

“By the time I take office as governor of Ekiti, things will start to improve for Nigeria’s female population. In addition, I’ll make sure that everyone in the state lives in peace, and security, women’s participation in politics, and youth engagement will all be top priorities. With Ekiti, I have three “Rs.” Take Back, Rebuild, and Go Again. The masses will get the full benefits of democracy.

“After June 18, all of this vote-buying won’t work because our people have grown wiser.” In the event that vote-buying is involved, this crowd is not present today. We are determined to improve Ekiti, no matter how long it takes.
