Three individuals, including a farm manager and two industrial training students, were abducted by unknown gunmen at a farm in Oke Oge, Oba Ile, Akure North Local Government Area, Ondo State, on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The attack occurred near Akure Airport, at a farm owned by a former commissioner specializing in pepper and tomato cultivation. The victims were abducted while returning from the farm.
The incident follows a recent attack in the Ajegunle-Powerline community, where suspected herdsmen killed five farm laborers in the same local government area.

Confirming the incident on Sunday, February 9, 2025, Commander of Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, assured that security forces are actively tracking the kidnappers.
Ransom Demand
A family source revealed that the kidnappers have contacted the victims’ families, demanding ₦15 million ransom for their release.
