Galatasaray’s pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is gaining momentum as the Turkish champions secure sponsorship support to cover a significant portion of the transfer fee. According to Turkish outlet Milliyet, the club has partnered with a major sponsor willing to fund 70% of the deal, which could see the transfer fee reduced from €75 million to €70 million.

Napoli is reportedly seeking €25 million upfront, with the balance to be paid in two installments. Galatasaray is pushing to finalize the deal swiftly, particularly as their rivals, Fenerbahçe, have also shown interest in the Nigerian striker. Fenerbahçe has engaged agent Mirsad Türkcan to explore financing options, leveraging their strong relationship with Napoli from a prior transfer involving Eljif Elmas.

Osimhen, who currently earns €12 million annually including image rights, is set to command a total of €36 million over three seasons. Both clubs are racing to secure his signature, with Galatasaray’s president, Dursun Özbek, leading negotiations alongside key team members. They plan to meet Osimhen’s agent, George Gardi, in Italy to finalize the deal.

Since joining Galatasaray in September, Osimhen has delivered outstanding performances, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in nine matches across all competitions, making him a hot property in European football.
