The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured air passengers of improved travel experiences, especially during the festive season. In an announcement made in Abuja, FAAN’s Managing Director, Kabir Mohammed, emphasized the Authority’s dedication to ensuring pleasant air travel for all passengers across Nigerian airports.
Mohammed highlighted FAAN’s initiatives to curb extortion, particularly at Lagos and Abuja airports, to uphold Nigeria’s reputation. He noted that ‘mystery passengers’ might be deployed to monitor and address extortion incidents when necessary.
Additionally, FAAN is working to enhance cooling systems within airport facilities, an improvement set to continue beyond the festive period. Mohammed encouraged passengers to report any grievances using the official contact numbers provided by FAAN, with a promise that their concerns would be promptly addressed.
