According to some, prophecies—whose accuracy and area of expertise are the cleric’s vocation—are the calling of the primate Elijah Ayodele of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, which has its headquarters in Lagos. Since 1994, his forecasts have had no boundaries. Politics, the economy, sports, government, healthcare, science and technology, religion, conventional institutions, security, and the entire world are all included in their purview. In contrast to many other prophets, Primate Ayodele is unafraid to speak truth to power about any individual, group, or government about what he perceives to be God’s will as it has been revealed to him.
Many people in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond have always eagerly anticipated the publication of his yearly book, “Warning to the Nations: Compilation of Divine Signals.” Every year, the book is published, and it includes predictions for the upcoming year and beyond. Aside the content of the annual book, Primate Ayodele also expresses what he knows to be God’s mind on matters anytime he meets with journalists during press conferences. His views on matters of international concern have consistently been sorted by both local and international onlookers. Given his history of accurate prophecy, it is not surprising that he wrote a book detailing 10,000 of his own fulfilled prophecies.
One of the most recent examples of his forecasts coming true is the dismissal of Sheriff Oborevwor, the PDP candidate for governor of Delta. Much earlier, Primate Ayodele had issued the following warning: “If the APC plays smart strategy, I don’t see PDP candidate Sheriff Oborevwor coming out on top. Governor Okowa should act right away, I’m telling him; the PDP is putting the sheriff in danger. I’m not against the governor, but that’s what God said. The resignation of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the murder of Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were two other forecasts that came true. To the amazement of many, Shinzo Abe was killed during a campaign address.
He also warned that President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy would be attacked; he has been warning of this since 2021. Additionally, Primate Ayodele’s prophecy regarding the demise of former Angolan President Jose Dos Santos materialized five days after the warning. He said just this: “There will be a serious election between the incumbent and the opposition in Angola, so let them pray not to lose the country’s former president.” The president will lose the election if he lets the coalition work against him, but if he performs admirably and takes the necessary action, it will be challenging for the coalition to remove him from office.
In addition to the aforementioned, Primate Ayodele stated in his 2022–2023 edition of his book of predictions, “Warning to the Nations,” that he anticipated the president of Sri Lanka will be driven from office. This took place.
Similarly, the recently released prophecy book contained predictions made by the prophet regarding the Uber problem and the recent fire outbreak at Bodija Market. The Bodija tragedy was mentioned in the WTN 2022/2023 edition on page 39. Additionally, Primate Ayodele predicted that Uber, the ride-hailing company, will experience operational issues on page 170 of the same edition. These have indeed materialized.
He issued a warning about the nations being troubled by climate changes on page 62 of the same edition. This has materialized as a heat wave, extreme flood, and several other natural disasters have come to pass.
The results of the Osun 2022 gubernatorial race, however, have many observers of the Primate’s years of prophetic accuracy uneasy. Recall that Primate Ayodele had disclosed the news at a press conference on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. In a long speech, he cautioned Governor Oyetola that it would be difficult for him to win in 2022.
On December 22, 2021, Primate Ayodele reportedly said to the assembled press, “Gov. Oyetola needs to bring all the members of the Osun State House of Assembly together, along with the party members, as the spirit of God commands.” He must work assiduously because there will be a lot of wicked offenders that would want to thwart his effort in order for him not to win the second term. In the APC of Osun State, everyone should get along.
“I think a lot of his party members will want to band together to oppose him. Both the party members’ defection and the dissolution of Oyetola’s party must be prevented. He needs prayers to avert negativity and perform the needed. They’ll bring negative reports about the governor.
He needs to pray a lot in order to be successful. Oyetola will wish to alter every aspect of his current position. It will lead to more issues, but if he works harder and prays fervently, he will be able to hold onto his seat. Oyetola will want to do every effort to hold onto his position for an additional term. His goal will be to make sure the APC wins the upcoming election. He ought to hope that he keeps all of his allies and devoted party members. There will be negative messaging as well as protests against his regime. He will record victory if he organizes his affairs.
Let’s fast-forward to Primate Ayodele’s press conference on Saturday, July 9, 2022. This was precisely one week before the governorship race in Osun. The Osun governorship election was one among the topics discussed at the news conference along with other national problems. Primate Ayodele said something out of the ordinary when asked what he thought will happen in the election. Although he noted that Ademola Adeleke would not win the election and that Governor Gboyega Oyetola would retain his seat as the governor of the state, journalists present were worried, noting that he had categorically predicted in 2021 and consistently maintained that except Governor Oyetola sorted out the problems in his party, the APC, he would lose the election.
Ayodele the primate? Do we need to be concerned? Something must have gone amiss. As reporters, we bide our time until we speak with him again to get the facts straight.
