Biodun Oyebanji, the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) candidate for governor of Ekiti State, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for what he described as sufficient preparations for the poll on Saturday.

Shortly after casting his ballot at Unit 3, Ward 6, Ikogosi, Ekiti West LGA region, the APC candidate talked with reporters.

Oyebanji, who cast his ballot at precisely 10:40 a.m., expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes he had obtained from his party agents thus far.

“The procedure is great, I just cast my vote, and it went really well,” he remarked. The accrediting procedure has operated flawlessly. I must say that INEC did a great job in preparation.

There would undoubtedly be hiccups, but hopefully not enough to undermine the legitimacy of the entire procedure. The number of attendees has been positive.

The APC candidate responded, “nothing like that here,” when asked if he had knowledge of security breaches. He added that he could only judge the procedure within his polling place.

At the end of the election, he declared himself confident that he would win.

“I anticipate victory,” he informed reporters.
