Dexa Medica to Sponsor Inter-House Sports Competitions in Nigerian Schools

Indonesian pharmaceutical company Dexa Medica, through its Nigerian distribution partner, Orange Drugs Ltd., has announced its sponsorship of inter-house sports competitions in three Nigerian schools. These events, set to take place from March 28-31, 2023, will be hosted at Army Day Secondary School in Sokoto, Ilorin Grammar School in Ilorin, and Kanmi Group of Schools in Ayobo, Lagos.

Dexa Medica highlighted that its support for youth sports aligns with the company’s mission to promote a healthy, pain-free lifestyle. Mr. Dhanang Riyo Anggoro, Dexa Medica’s Country Manager for Nigeria and West Africa, shared that the sponsorship is part of the company’s ‘Boska Cup’ initiative, which supports school sports across Nigeria, with a particular focus on football. Events also include motivational speeches and career guidance sessions.

The statement further emphasized Dexa Medica’s commitment to Nigerian schools, with its product lineup—including Boska, Konos, Stimuno, and Herbacough—reflecting its dedication to the pharmaceutical industry in Nigeria since it began operations in 1995. Anggoro added, “Sports play a vital role in the education of Nigerian children, teaching values like teamwork, self-discipline, hard work, and perseverance.”
