At a recent event hosted by Airtel Nigeria in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AVAYA, stakeholders from the telecommunications and ICT sectors gathered to discuss emerging technology trends, with a focus on how cloud technology can drive modernization, digital transformation, and efficient service delivery.

Themed “Modernisation and Digitisation,” the session engaged experts and stakeholders in exploring digital solutions tailored to the evolving demands of both private and public sector organizations. AWS Senior Solutions Architect, Stanley Anetoh, highlighted the rising expectations of citizens for seamless, responsive government interactions facilitated by cloud-based, connected services. He stated, “Cloud technologies are vital to support the government’s initiatives, and we’re keen to offer cloud support to enable such advancements beyond the private sector alone.”

Luc Serviant, Director of Airtel Business, Airtel Africa, echoed this sentiment, noting Airtel’s commitment to innovative solutions for connectivity, cloud security, and data services to meet the dynamic needs of businesses.
