The recently concluded Top Naija Music Awards saw five music awards for rising artists in the music business won by popular entertainment label Jamika Entertainment (TNMA).
Due to pandemic fears, the award show was held digitally. Notable performers such as Korede Bello and Rekkado Banks were prior recipients.
The growing entertainment juggernaut that parades the Sultan (also known as Afroboy), Yung Bos, Koredianx, and Church of Men won Best Music Album for his sophomore album Afroboy at the seventh edition of the ceremony, which was to honor actions in 2021.
Dave “Dexterity” Achina, the record label’s producer, also won the Best Music Producer award.
“No denying we are ecstatic on winning five awards, though can’t help but feel greedy we should have won the whole six we were nominated for,” stated Stanley Ihensekhien, Head of Operations.
“But we are grateful that our hard work is being acknowledged, and we look forward to receiving more significant awards in the future,” he said.
Ihensekhien stated, “We have a lot of exciting music projects to release this year,” alluding to future endeavors for the organization. In order to provide our fans with the finest, we are also collaborating with a few A-list musicians from Nigeria.
