Air Peace CEO, Olubadan of Ibadan Among 26 Honorees at Afro Awards 2023

The Founder and CEO of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, and the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Dr. Moshood Olalekan-Balogun, were recently honored among 26 distinguished Africans and Americans at the prestigious Afro Awards 2023 for their humanitarian contributions.

The AFRO Awards, powered by the Odualaf Foundation, is an annual non-profit event that recognizes individuals and organizations making significant impacts in various fields. According to Chief Taiwo Oduala, Executive Director and Founder of the AFRO Awards, the event aims to celebrate Afro-centric excellence and those who have transformed lives within their communities.

Allen Onyema was recognized for his significant role in free evacuations, such as assisting Nigerians in returning from South Africa during xenophobic attacks and other evacuation efforts. Oba Dr. Moshood Olalekan-Balogun was acknowledged for his remarkable leadership as a caring and wise Royal Father.

The 2nd Annual AFRO Awards took place at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood, California, and featured a star-studded guest list, showcasing global humanitarian excellence. Other notable recipients included Phill Westbrooks, who received the Business Tycoon of the Year Award, and Chief Duran Alabi, who was awarded Finance Innovator of the Year.

The event highlighted global humanitarian contributions and was an inspiring celebration of cultural significance and unity.
