Following the resignation of former Managing Director and CEO James Agada, CWG Plc, a prominent IT service management company, has announced the appointment of Mr. Adewale Adeyipo as the new Chief Executive Officer. Known for his innovative approach and strong focus on revenue generation and market expansion, Adeyipo is set to lead CWG into a new era of growth.
Prior to his appointment, Adeyipo served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, and product management across the CWG Group. His experience with the company spans several leadership roles, including overseeing business development for the telecommunications division in 2010 and leading CWG’s Pan-African initiatives in 2014, managing strategic partnerships in 23 African markets.
With a strong background in consultative sales and business management, Adeyipo started his career at Discount Microcredit Finance House in 2004. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a talent for identifying growth opportunities, building effective teams, and establishing revenue streams, leveraging his skills in business strategy and leadership.
Adewipo holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin and has completed executive training at prestigious institutions, including Lagos Business School, the Business School Netherlands, MIT, and London Business School. A technology enthusiast and dedicated mentor, Adeyipo is also deeply committed to social causes. He co-founded the “Train a Child” initiative and serves as a facilitator at CWG Academy, where he helps to shape the next generation of tech-savvy professionals in Nigeria.
