Telecommunications operator 9mobile has named Ina Alogwu as its new Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO), signaling the company’s intent to intensify its digital transformation efforts and foster a culture of innovation.

In a statement shared recently, 9mobile announced that Alogwu’s role will encompass developing and implementing the company’s long-term strategy across digital and technological platforms. Extensive Experience
Alogwu brings nearly 20 years of expertise in digital commerce, mobile payments, and strategic innovation to 9mobile. Before joining the telecom giant, he served as the Group Director of Digital Transformation at ARM Holding Company, Nigeria. During his tenure, he led impactful innovation initiatives, formulated a comprehensive data strategy, and provided support for African tech startups through venture-building programs.
Prior to his role at ARM, Alogwu held key positions at Interswitch Limited, where he played a pivotal role in developing payment platforms that served West and East Africa. His career also includes positions with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Integrated Business Strategies, showcasing a versatile professional background that blends technology, strategy, and regulatory experience.
