The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has launched a new digital platform aimed at streamlining the processes of drug integrity testing and visa clearance certification.
The initiative, known as the Drug Integrity Test and Visa E-Administration System (DITViCAS), was officially unveiled on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Abuja.
At the launch event, NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), emphasized that the platform represents a significant shift in the agency’s approach to combating substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking.
He described the digitalization as a “paradigm shift” that integrates enforcement with efficiency and commitment with cutting-edge technology.
The new system allows individuals and organizations to apply for drug integrity tests and visa clearance certificates online, eliminating the need for in-person visits and reducing the potential for human error and delays.
Applicants can create accounts on the portal, select preferred testing centers, and schedule appointments at their convenience. The platform also supports e-certification, enabling immediate issuance of certificates upon successful completion of the testing process.
In a move to enhance accessibility, the NDLEA has partnered with private medical centers to serve as accredited locations for drug integrity tests. This collaboration aims to expand the reach of the program and provide more options for applicants across the country.
The DITViCAS platform is designed to be user-friendly and secure, with built-in verification mechanisms to prevent the issuance of fraudulent certificates. The system includes supervisory dashboards that allow for real-time monitoring and oversight of operations at various levels of the agency.

The agency encourages all stakeholders, including educational institutions, employers, and individuals, to utilize the new platform to support the national effort in reducing drug abuse and its associated risks.
