Nigerian media personality and actress Nancy Isime has yet to respond to allegations linking her to the collapse of the marriage of Lagos-based businessman, Chinedu Nwobodo, the owner of Circa Lagos.
The claims were made by Ify Okafor, a Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom, who accused Nancy Isime and former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of allegedly being involved with her ex-husband during their marriage.
Okafor, who hails from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, shared the accusations in a detailed Facebook post recounting what she described as years of infidelity, abuse, and emotional distress.
According to Okafor, some of the alleged affairs occurred while she and Nwobodo were still legally and traditionally married.
She claimed the relationships caused deep emotional pain, embarrassment, and constant tension within her home.
Beyond infidelity, she alleged that her marriage was marked by repeated physical violence, emotional manipulation, threats, and controlling behaviour, which ultimately left her mentally and emotionally exhausted.
Okafor stated that the combination of cheating and abuse gradually eroded the foundation of the marriage, making the relationship unsafe and unstable until it eventually collapsed.
Despite the intense backlash and conversations the allegations have sparked across social media platforms, Nancy Isime has not publicly addressed the claims.
Instead, the actress recently returned to Instagram after a brief absence, sharing vacation photos that appeared to show her unfazed by the controversy.

In one of her posts, Nancy jokingly admitted that while she appeared glad to be back online, she secretly wished she could step away from social media entirely, similar to her colleague Alex Ekubo. She wrote, “I act like I’m happy to be back, but deep down I want to pull a @alexxekubo on social media.”
