Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has denied reports that he wrote a letter to the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressing interest to join the ruling party.
According to Kwankwaso’s spokesperson, the circulating letter is a forgery, and the former governor has not made any formal communication of such a political move.
The spokesperson further said that Kwankwaso remains committed to his current political platform and will make any future decisions known to the public directly.
The speculation around Kwankwaso’s possible defection has intensified in recent weeks, partly due to internal rifts within his party and reports of factional pressure.

No response has yet come from the APC or its national chairman confirming or denying the alleged letter.
