Nigerian comedian and social activist Mr. Macaroni has taken aim at President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of failing to curb the escalating insecurity across the country.

Reacting to recent incidents — including the abduction of schoolchildren and the killing of a military general — the comedian expressed outrage on his social media page, saying the government has not shown the urgency required to secure the nation.

Mr. Macaroni questioned why terrorist groups continue to occupy parts of the country despite repeated promises by the current administration to restore peace and safety.

In a strongly worded post, he wrote: “This is a very useless and irresponsible government feasting on the blood of innocent Nigerians! School children have been kidnapped, a general killed, and everything is fine??? Why should any part of this country be occupied by terrorists? In any civilized country, Tinubu should resign!”

Meanwhile, fear has spread through Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State following the abduction of Reverend Father Markus Samari from his residence in the Kuse-Gudu community.

During the attack, one Emmanuel Yaro was reportedly shot dead.

According to Daily Trust, a resident identified as Salihu Mahmud said the invasion occurred around 5:37 p.m. on Sunday, shortly after the priest returned from church.

The latest incidents have again intensified public discourse on Nigeria’s deteriorating security situation and the government’s response.
